Employment Department Hosts Seminar, “Compliance Matters: Wage and Hour Issues and FLSA Exemption Changes”

The Labor and Employment Department will host a free breakfast seminar for clients on June 1, 2016. The seminar, entitled “Compliance Matters: Wage and Hour Issues and FLSA Exemption Changes” will address recent changes in the law, including the FLSA’s forthcoming “minimum salary” boost for exempt employees, latest amendments to Seattle’s Sick & Safe Leave, Minimum Wage, and Wage Theft Ordinances. Attorneys Celeste Monroe and Derek Little will speak at this seminar.
