Mark A. Bailey Joins Karr Tuttle Campbell as Shareholder

SEATTLE, May, 2011 –Karr Tuttle Campbell is pleased to announce that Mark A. Bailey has joined the firm as a shareholder.  Mr. Bailey comes to us from the Edmonds, Washington, law firm of Beresford Booth PLLC where he was a partner.

A 1996 graduate, with High Honors, from the University of Washington School of Law, Mr. Bailey was articles editor for the Washington Law Review as a student.  Prior to attending law school he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Music, summa cum laude, from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA.

Before accepting his first law firm position in Seattle, Mr. Bailey spent two years as a law clerk at the Washington State Court of Appeals, Division I.  In more than a dozen years of private law firm practice since, he has gained experience in litigation, creditor/debtor law, secured financing, and lending, receiverships and bankruptcy.  He has written and spoken on judgment collection and bankruptcy issues and edits the Bankruptcy Practice Chapter of the Washington Lawyer’s Practice Manual, published by the King County Bar Association.

Mr. Bailey will focus his practice on commercial litigation with an emphasis on lending, contract and financial disputes, credit recovery and insolvency.
