Labor & Employment Department to Host Seminar “Complex Leave Issues”

As an added-value service for our clients, the Labor and Employment Department will host a seminar addressing the complex issues created by the intersection of various leave laws. The seminar will be held on July 28 in our offices.

Tracy Miller will present on a range of topics, including:

  • pregnancy and child birth related disability and parental leave
  • on-the-job injuries
  • leave as an accommodation of disability
  • the Family Medical Leave Act
  • State and local sick leave laws

Ms. Miller is a Shareholder in Karr Tuttle Campbell’s Labor and Employment Department. She has extensive experience advising and representing public and private employers, including commercial and nonprofit corporations, in all aspects of their employment relationships. She has over fifteen years of experience advising and representing public school districts and private schools in all aspects of their operations, including but not limited to special education, student discipline, civil rights, public records, open public meetings, labor, and classified and certificated employment.
