“A Year in Review” Seminar + Happy Hour
KTC’s Employment Department invites you to a combined evening seminar and happy hour at the Columbia Tower Club on January 30th, 2018, from 4:30 – 7:00 pm. We will review significant events that have occurred in the field of labor and employment law during the past year. We also will share possible changes you might see in the coming year. Following the 1-hour seminar, join us for complimentary appetizers and drinks.
Among other things, we will talk about sexual harassment and the #MeToo movement; new paid sick leave requirements; wage and hour developments; H-1B visas; changes to the American Care Act; intermittent rest periods; astonishing jury verdicts; NLRB workplaces policies revisited; accommodating pregnant employees; and impending legislation.
