Labor & Employment Department to Host “A Planning Guide for Employers: What to Expect in 2017” Seminar

KTC’s Labor & Employment Department will be hosting their first breakfast seminar of the year on the morning of March 9, 2017. Firm shareholder and employment attorney Medora Marisseau will be speaking to employers on what to expect in employment law in 2017 and how they can be properly prepared for upcoming changes. Some of what she will address includes:

  • Compliance with new state and local minimum wage laws
  • Leave laws and other ordinances
  • Adjusting to the uncertainty in the Affordable Care Act
  • The Department of Labor’s new priorities

Location: Karr Tuttle Campbell, downtown Seattle
When:  March 9, 2017.
Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am and the presentation will be from 8:00-9:00 am.
