KTC Raises Funds for Local Families and Food Banks
For almost 120 years, Karr Tuttle Campbell has maintained an outstanding local and national litigation and business practice serving nearly every possible sector. Built on a strong foundation of service and knowledge of core industries, Karr Tuttle Campbell continues to grow and evolve with the market and client needs. At the heart of it, something that hasn’t changed, is our commitment to serving our community. We have had a longstanding tradition of holding our annual fall fundraiser, a time where we come together as a firm and raise as much money as we can with a focus on food, fun, and play. This year was no exception, we not only continued our giving pledge to United Way (which is over 32 years strong!) we also added 2 new initiatives!
Through our new partnership with Vision House in Renton, a facility that provides emergency housing for homeless families, we were able to support 22 families with a meal for Thanksgiving. We also identified organizations in the outlying areas who are challenged to keep up with the increased demand. We raised enough funds to provide resources to seven foodbanks!! Our donations went to Rainier Valley Food Bank, Tukwila Pantry Food Bank, Kent Food Bank, Maple Valley Food Bank, North Helpline/Lake City Food Bank, Mt. Si Food Bank, and Hopelink Sno-Valley Food Bank. As a firm, we also provided a match for a portion of all employee donations.
We couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to serve, both in our work and in the needs of our community.
