KTC Hosts “Immigration Under Trump” Breakfast Seminar

In light of recent and expected changes under the Trump administration, KTC’s Employment Department will host a breakfast seminar entitled, “Immigration Under Trump: How Changes in Immigration Policies May Affect Your Business, Your Workers & What to Do About It.”

The lively discussion, spearheaded by attorney Ché Dawson and Stephanie Lakinski, will focus on the interests of employers and their employees, including:

• Employment-based visas and potential changes to the H-1B program
• I-9 compliance, best practices and common pitfalls using the new 1-9 Form to verify employment eligibility, and
• Workplace audits and raids, and what to do if they happen

Breakfast will be served at 7:30 am and the presentation will be from 8:00-9:00 am
