An article written by Karr Tuttle Campbell Shareholder John Poffenbarger was published in Washington CPA’s Fall 2015 issue. The article, entitled “Succession Planning and ‘Buy-Sell’ Agreements for Closely-Held Businesses” highlights the importance of creating a plan for closely-held businesses that prepares it for the eventual retirement or death of the founder.
