Jacquelyn Beatty to Speak at ACI’s 28th National Advanced Forum on Bad Faith Claims and Litigation

The American Conference Institute will host its 28th National Advanced Forum on Bad Faith Claims and Litigation on July 29 and 30 in San Francisco. The forum will cover a range of topics related to bad faith litigation, including insights and expert advice on new litigation trends, emerging theories of liability, and the most effective defense and settlement strategies. Karr Tuttle Campbell shareholder Jacquelyn Beatty will co-present “Examining the Impact of Additional Insured Coverage in the Industry and Marketplace.” Her session will examine the recent trend of narrowing or limiting insurance coverage, policyholder objections, and failure to comply with contractual obligations among other topics. Matthew Sekits and Michael Leahy will join Ms. Beatty in presenting.

Ms. Beatty’s practice exclusively involves commercial civil litigation, particularly insurance coverage and bad faith. She has earned the professional insurance designations of Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) and Associate in Risk Management (ARM). She also earned her Certified Litigation Management Professional (CLMP) designation in October 2012. Ms. Beatty has been invited to speak at many bad faith insurance conferences over the course of her career.
