Jacquelyn Beatty to Co Chair Forum on Bad Faith Litigation

Jacquelyn Beatty will co-chair and speak at the American Conference Institute’s (ACI) 25th National Advanced Forum on Bad Faith Litigation on July 30 and 31 in San Francisco.  Ms. Beatty will be joined in speaking by Matthew Sekits and Deanna Johnson in a discussion entitled “Pivotal Bad Faith Issues on the Horizon (including from the U.S. Supreme Court) and Examining Key State Nuances and Developments in Hotbed Jurisdictions Such as California, Washington and Florida.”  This discussion will examine recent court cases related to bad faith litigation and their implications for future cases.

This will be the Karr Tuttle Campbell shareholder’s first time speaking at the ACI forum.  Ms. Beatty focuses her practice on commercial civil litigation, concentrating primarily on bad faith and insurance coverage.  She has been recognized numerous times for excellence in her field, receiving honors such as Seattle Met’s “Top 50 Women Lawyers” in Washington and Washington Law and Politics’ “Super Lawyer”.  Ms. Beatty is a Washington State Co-Chair of Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) and is active in CLM’s Bad Faith and Coverage Committees.
