Sameena Habib is an associate attorney in Karr Tuttle Campbell’s Intellectual Property & Technology and Privacy & Data Security practice groups. She provides strategic guidance and legal counseling to start-ups as well as large, established companies in technology and commercial transactions as well as privacy and data security compliance. Sameena also counsels clients in securing and enforcing a wide range of intellectual property rights (patent, trademark, copyright and trade secrets).
Ms. Habib also counsels clients in securing and enforcing a wide range of intellectual property rights (patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret). She represents clients in trademark registration, including brand selection and trademark clearance. As a registered U.S. patent attorney, Ms. Habib manages large, global patent portfolios and represents clients in acquiring and maintaining patent rights. She is a member of the Washington State Bar Association’s Corporate Counsel and Intellectual Property Sections as well as the International Trademark Association (INTA). Ms. Habib was also recognized as a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers Magazine in 2017.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Habib worked in the technology transfer office of the University of Washington, drafting contracts and patent applications for University inventions. She also worked in-house at The Boeing Company.
