Paul Brown to Participate as a Panelist at the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees’ Spring Seminar

Karr Tuttle Campbell attorney Paul Brown will speak at the National Association of Bankruptcy Trustees’ (“NABT”) annual Spring Seminar on February 26. The NABT is a nonprofit association that serves as the voice of the Chapter 7 Bankruptcy Trustee community, serving its interests and needs through education, communication and promotion of the profession

Mr. Brown will participate in the panel “Off Shore Assets and Chapter 15,” which will address how a Trustee may administer assets that are outside of the United States. They will discuss the resources at a Chapter 7 Trustee’s disposal to recover assets that have been expatriated or how the Trustee can proceed to liquidate such assets in a foreign jurisdiction. Gary Seitz will moderate this panel and the Honorable James W. Boyd, and Michael O’Connor will join Mr. Brown as panelists.

Mr. Brown has extensive experience in asset recovery and financial fraud matters, representing high net worth individuals and financial institutions. He has secured assets by working with local counsel and an international team of investigators in 20 U.S. states and 20 foreign jurisdictions including Belize, Isle of Man, Switzerland, Portugal, Canada, and France.
