Maria Hodgins’ practice focuses on labor and employment law, bankruptcy, and general litigation.

Maria’s practice focuses on labor and employment law, immigration, and general litigation. In accordance with her litigation practice, she has represented a broad range of clients at both the appellate and trial court levels. She has also worked closely with international investors on EB-5 petitions and with large companies on H-1B and O-1 petitions.

Maria also maintains a robust pro bono practice with a focus on asylum petitions, civil rights matters, and representing individuals seeking to vacate their criminal records.

Prior to joining Karr Tuttle Campbell, Maria externed for Justice González at the Washington Supreme Court. She was also a Student Attorney for the University of Washington Immigration Clinic and  volunteered with the Rural Alaska Tax Program, traveling to the interior of Alaska to prepare tax returns for indigenous people living in remote villages.

Additionally, Maria completed a summer with Consumer Education and Training Services (CENTS), where she partnered with the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and assisted cancer patients navigating cancer-related financial toxicity. Before law school, Maria taught English in South Korea.
