George S. Treperinas

George S. Treperinas focuses his practice on the representation of businesses and high-net-worth individuals, both within and outside of the United States. He assists clients with their general business needs including formation, equity and debt financing, strategic planning and succession, mergers and acquisitions, financial restructurings and reorganizations.

His clients range from closely held to publicly traded businesses. These businesses include manufacturers, start-up and emerging technology companies, engineering and securities firms, hospitality enterprises, wholesalers and distributors, service businesses, commercial real estate enterprises, and lenders.

Since Fall 2007 and the beginning of the economic downturn in the Seattle metropolitan area, George has increasingly assisted his clients in financial restructurings (workouts) and reorganizations in Chapter 11 bankruptcies. His experience in this area relates back to his early legal career, which was focused on creditor/debtor issues. In addition to assisting with financial restructurings and the like, he represents clients in pursuing their claims in bankruptcy, as well as creditor committees in sophisticated business reorganizations.

George has been named a “Super Lawyer” by Super Lawyers Magazine, a “Top Business Lawyer” by Seattle Business Monthly, and a “Top Lawyer” by Seattle Magazine. He is a member of Karr Tuttle Campbell’s Board of Directors and is active in the Washington State and King County Bar associations.
