Adam D. Matherly is an attorney in the firm’s Business & Finance practice group. He serves as outside general counsel to emerging and established companies in connection with their corporate and transactional business matters.

Adam D. Matherly is an attorney in the firm’s Business & Finance practice group.  He serves as outside general counsel to emerging and established companies in connection with a wide range of corporate and transactional business matters.

Adam leads and supports major business transactions including mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, reorganizations, and restructurings.  With special expertise in intellectual property matters, he regularly assists with complex licensing transactions, particularly in the software and biotech industries.  Adam is an experienced trademark attorney, managing large national and international trademark portfolios for clients of all industries.  Adam is also a member of the firm’s Cannabis practice group, routinely assisting with business needs of Washington-licensed producer-processors and ancillary businesses serving the industry.

Prior to joining Karr Tuttle Campbell, Adam managed his own law firm where he served as outside corporate counsel for a number of biotech, e-commerce, manufacturing, and distribution companies.  Concurrently, he managed the daily operations of a client aerospace tooling company as its Vice-President and COO.
