Overview

Paul Silver focuses his practice on commercial, corporate, and real estate transactions, with an additional interest in non-profit organizations (particularly with respect to formation and governance issues) and health-care law. Clients of the firm for whom Paul has significant responsibility include an apparel company, a restaurant chain, a real estate company, several non-profit schools and a non-profit health care provider.

He is a member of the American Bar Association (former member of the ABA House of Delegates); the Washington State Bar Association (former Chair of the WSBA “Pro Bono Task Force”); and the King County Bar Association (former trustee and former president of its Young Lawyers Division).

He has served in leadership positions with several Seattle community organizations, including Evergreen Legal Services (former president and board member); Allied Arts of Seattle (former president and trustee); and Washington Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (founding director).

Paul presently provides volunteer services to a nonprofit organization involved in medical research and in health-care delivery projects in the developing world, and to residents of the Seattle Emergency Housing Shelter. In 1995, he won the King County Bar Association “Pro Bono Lawyer Of the Year” award and he has also been recognized as one of Seattle’s Top Business Lawyers by Seattle Business Monthly.
