Celeste M. Monroe is a member of the firm’s Litigation Group. Her practice focuses on commercial disputes, including contract and trademark matters, as well as traditional construction and real estate development litigation. Ms. Monroe’s experience also includes personal injury and premises liability cases.
Ms. Monroe earned her law degree from Willamette University College of Law in 2004, where she served as the Symposium Editor for the Law Review. During law school, Ms. Monroe clerked in the Appellate Division of the Oregon Department of Justice. There, Ms. Monroe worked with department attorneys on criminal and civil appeals pending before the Oregon Court of Appeals. Court certified, Ms. Monroe successfully argued two cases before three judge panels of the court.
Ms. Monroe received her B.A. in English from Barnard College of Columbia University in 1998. Prior to law school, Ms. Monroe was the Media and Marketing Manager for a large northwest diesel power distributor.
Ms. Monroe is a member of the King County, Washington, and American Bar Associations, as well as Washington Women Lawyers. She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for Eastern and Western Districts of Washington.
