Paul M. Silver is a graduate of Yale University (B.A., 1966) and the University of Chicago Law School (J.D., 1971) . Mr. Silver focuses his practice on commercial and real estate transactions, with an additional interest in health-care law. Clients of the firm for whom Mr. Silver has significant responsibility include an apparel company, a restaurant chain, and real estate developer.
Mr. Silver is a member of the American Bar Association (former member of the ABA House of Delegates); the Washington State Bar Association (former Chair of the WSBA "Pro Bono Task Force"); and the King County Bar Association (former trustee and former president of its Young Lawyers Division).
Mr. Silver has served in leadership positions with several Seattle community organizations, including Evergreen Legal Services (former president and board member); Allied Arts of Seattle (former president and trustee); and Washington Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts (founding director). Mr. Silver presently provides volunteer legal services to a nonprofit organization involved in "micro-lending" projects in Latin America; to a nonprofit organization involved in health -care delivery projects in the developing world; and to residents of the Seattle Emergency Housing Shelter . In 1995 Mr. Silver won the King County Bar Association "Pro Bono Lawyer Of the Year" award. |
