George S. Treperinas is a graduate of University of Washington (B.A., 1981) and Willamette University College of Law (J.D., 1985). Mr. Treperinas focuses his practice on the representation of businesses, both within and outside of the United States. He assists his clients with their general business needs including formation, equity and debt financing, general operations, strategic planning and succession, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations and liquidations.
Mr. Treperinas’ clients range from closely held to publicly traded businesses. These businesses include manufacturers, startup and emerging technology companies, engineering and securities firms, hospitality enterprises, wholesalers and distributors, service businesses, commercial real estate enterprises, and lenders.
Mr. Treperinas focused on creditor/debtor issues early in his career. This background provides him with unique skills to assist his business clients with creditor/debtor and bankruptcy matters. He is often enlisted to pursue creditor claims in bankruptcy, handle business reorganizations and liquidations of his clients within and outside of Chapter 11, and represent creditor committees (in sophisticated business reorganizations).
Mr. Treperinas has been included in Washington Law & Politics list of Washington “Super Lawyers,” and as a “Top Lawyer” by Seattle Magazine. He is a member of Karr Tuttle Campbell’s Board of Directors and is active in the Washington State and King County Bar Associations.
