Charles A. Robinson is a graduate of Pacific Lutheran University (Bachelor of Business Administration, 1978, Magna Cum Laude) and the University of Washington School of Law (J.D., 1981). His principal areas of practice are corporate and partnership taxation, mergers and acquisitions, business succession planning, individual tax and estate planning, trusts & estates. He is a shareholder in the firm, and a member of its State and Local Taxation, Business & Finance Department, as well as its Tax, Trust & Estates Department. Mr. Robinson is also a Certified Public Accountant.
Prior to joining Karr Tuttle Campbell, Mr. Robinson was general counsel for a wireless start-up company. He previously practiced law for 13 years with another Seattle law firm, and practiced for 6 years in the tax departments of national and regional public accounting firms.
Mr. Robinson has written and spoken on the tax issues involved in mergers and acquisitions, and contributed to the Real Estate taxation section of the Washington Practice Manual and the Fishing Industry chapter of the Washington State and Local Tax Deskbook. He is a member of the taxation sections of the American, Washington State and King County Bar Associations, as well as the Washington Society of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Robinson is admitted to practice in the United States Tax Court. |
